Religious Hazards!

Today I learned that kneelers in churches can, indeed, be hazardous ... during mass, J.S. was kneeling, but not completely (so, sort of leaning back onto the chair behind him), because the person in front of him was sitting back and the person behind him was kneeling/leaning forward. As the person behind him sat up from kneeling, J.S. leaned farther back on his chair to also sit up. Since the previously kneeling person was no longer there to act as a counterweight, the chair slid back a few inches, causing J.S. to lose his balance and fall onto the ground. Fortunately, he's just fine, and even more fortunately, I got to watch the whole thing in slow motion. We both stifled laughter for the remainder of the mass.
