Today I learned that no matter how awesome and intelligent your idea is, if it is not fully formed, or fully thought out for defense, or fully completed even, it can be easily tossed out the window without a chance for making it better. Also, I learned that (in my experience) immediate bosses usually have a 5-10 minute attention span possibly more if it is really crucial, but higher bosses will really keep conversations under 5 minutes, so everything must be efficient and prepared before hand.
