Today I learned that in Brazil, some cars (such as the Fiat Uno) have gasoline tanks near their engines. Not only would this lead to decreased gas efficiency, but ... danger, anyone?
kind of like how when I went to the auto show there were all these companies trying to show fuel cell technology as a means to replace gasoline, but really what it involves is putting large tanks of (highly flammable/explosive) hydrogen in a car.
