Today I learned that it is a pain in the ass trying to buy tickets for the Olympics, and it probably doesn't help that it's run by Canada. The international ticket sale for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics was supposed to start at 2:00 p.m., but around 1:55 p.m. the estimated release time changed to 2:30 p.m., and around 2:25 p.m. it changed to 3:00 p.m. I hope the latter is the real release time for the tickets as I continue to sit here waiting for the site to load.

Fail, the site was so slow that by the time it loaded, all of the tickets were sold out. :(
