Those Little Dashboard Lights

Today I learned that I really should heed the warning of the car manual when it says, 'Fix immediately' not 'Drive for another 30 minutes tonight and then attempt to drive an hour to work in the morning where it could be fixed.' It wont work. To make a long story short: my alternator on my car died, then my battery died, then my car died on the Penn Turnpike this morning a mere half mile from the turnpike exit and an auto repair shop. Yay for tow trucks.
